Emmauelle Alt, the newly appointed Editor In Chief of Paris Vogue as of February 1st, has a very intriguing style persona. Her style is very laid back with a dash of rocker chic. Her standard usually consists of skinny jeans, Balmain jackets, and t-shirts. Given her new role, I am sure that she will tweak her style to fit the part as Editor in Chief of one  of the most iconic magazines that has ever existed. Let’s face it, she has just been bumped to the next level of the fashion realm. 

Hello again....

I want to apologize for my hiatus from blogging. For the past few months, a couple of my family members have been sick and I have been taking the time to help nourish them back to health. Now that they are doing much better, I am ready to get back to my blogging duties.

I am an avid lover of jewelry and while I was away, I found some great jewelry lines that will take the latest spring and summer fashions up another notch. I would like to showcase a few jewelry designers and their magnificent pieces of jewelry throughout the month. First up is a group of Kenyan woman that make money for their families through this creative jewelry line. The jewelry is called Juzi, which means ‘the day before yesterday’ in Swahili. The Juzi jewelry is made from recycled paper and it is pretty amazing! No one would ever guess that the jewelry is made from old magazines, calendars, posters, or bottletops. She is like no other. A style icon with impeccable taste. I remember the first time I saw Iris, I was
mesmerized by her fashion forwardness and amazing jewelry (her signature trademark). She has
 inspired me in so many ways. I wanted to pay homage to her and introduce her to others that may
have never heard about or seen her incredible sense of fashion. She is no doubt a rare bird indeed.
